AI-Enabled Paradigms for Non-Intrusive Screening

In this report, we review the technical underpinnings of non-intrusive security screening at an abstract level, introduce non-intrusive screening concepts in the context of homeland security missions, provide examples of how artificial intelligence has been used in related applications, and outline opportunities in research and development.
