Andrew S. Ott

 In this role, he oversees legislative strategy, advances policy priorities, and guides high-level federal nominations through the confirmation process.

With more than 13 years of experience on Capitol Hill, Mr. Ott has advised on a wide range of legislative and procedural matters. His expertise spans budget reconciliation, the appropriations process, and Senate floor operations.

Prior to joining the Department, Mr. Ott was a member of the Senate Floor Staff, providing counsel to Senate leadership and committees on legislative strategy and procedure. He also worked in the Office of the Senate Chief Counsel, offering legal support for Senate operations. Additionally, his political background includes managing campaign operations and organizing major national political events, such as Republican National Conventions and Presidential Inaugurations.

Mr. Ott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and History from Fairfield University. He resides in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with his wife and three children.
